The jewel of Viennese operetta
Fledermaus Viennese composer Johann Strauss rightly belongs, as well as The Merry Widow, the most played and most beautiful world operettas. When his bat premiere, the composer was already 49 years old. For theater began writing relatively late; The bat was only his third operetta. He wrote it but perfectly seasoned musician - then already famous and acclaimed composer of waltzes, marches and songs. Funny and imaginative libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genéeho stand together with the beautiful music of Strauss for the success of this operetta. Rather than usual clichés of operetta librettists bet this time a well-played slapstick. Directed befriends Zbynek Brabec, who is on the stage of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc present in his rookie overhead.
