Spout is in sixth opera by Bedrich Smetana. Premiered on November 7, 1876. The Kiss was a new "national" opera based on folk traditions and the environment is representative of the Czech countryside, as well as typical Czech soul. Smetana people so devoted melodic work, to understand the broad masses and their character following the very successful Bartered Bride. The premiere was received with enthusiasm and respect for Smetana was enhanced by Kiss composed already dead. Kiss after Bartered Bride second most played Smetana's opera, but also one of the most played operas in the Czech lands at all.
