The most famous Czech operetta

Polish blood is one of the most famous and best Czech operettas. On the subject of Pushkin's short story "Miss Peasant Woman" wrote Leo Stein libretto, which Oskar Nedbal composed music. Operetta has enjoyed worldwide success and the best Nedbalovým work. Polish music draws from ideas, but also include her feel even Czech rhythms. The positive aspect of the work is great musical characterization of the characters and the music very well captures the dramatic twists and work. Polish blood has undergone since its successful premiere in 1913 in Vienna, a number of modifications.
