Opera in three acts

In certain occasion marked Bedrich Smetana's The Bartered Bride for his toy, which he meant a lighter, comedic genre that next big project a serious copyright perceived as a kind of compositional distractions. Along with comic poetry stepped into this work and the national idea, the folk tradition leaning, musical theater. The history of The Bartered Bride, we know that the path to success and ingenious result is far from a bore in the intuitive playfulness and ethnographic enthusiasm. Composer needed four versions of the popular buffoonery that shaped the genre mature operatic comedy to the stage of being caught folkórní puppets, but most experiencing life story and the characters.
Comedy and lyrical depth; traditions, folklore and uniqueness of the story. Such is the position under which each stage director must seek its approach to Smetana's masterpiece.
