Johann Strauss
The jewel of the Viennese operetta

Die Fledermaus Viennese composer Johann Strauss rightly belongs, as well as The Merry Widow, the most played and most beautiful world operettas. When his bat premiere, the composer was already 49 years old. For theater began writing relatively late; The bat was only his third operetta. He wrote it but perfectly seasoned musician - at that time famous and acclaimed composer of waltzes, marches and songs. Funny and imaginative libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genéeho stands together with the beautiful music of Strauss's success this operetta. Rather than the obligatory cliche operetta librettists bet this time in a well-played slapstick. Directed befriends Zbynek Brabec, which is on the boards of the Moravian Theatre Olomouc present in his directing debut.
