Romantic opera about love and tragedy

Opera Lucia di Lammermoor was first reported September 26, 1835 in Naples. Four years later in Paris of the French version, which is not simply a translation, but slightly different. Libretto by Salvatore Cammarano freely under the amendment Bride of Lammermoor written by Walter Scott. Opera has three acts, is considered the most successful artist's tragic opera, and one of the most beautiful works of the Italian bel canto.
