Brno composer Leoš Janáček is perhaps the most representative of Czech music in the 20th century , not only here but also in the world . Russian culture has always attracted a Janáčka is not surprising, therefore, that the basis of his two operas became great works of Russian literature - AN Ostrovsky's drama The Tempest , which was the model for Katya Kabanova and Dostoevsky's The House of the Dead , which became the basis of Janacek 's last opera . Otello is the story of a young woman who suffers at the hands of hard traditions merchant company Czarist Russia.
