The House of Culture Vsetín in cooperation with the city cordially invite all lovers of classical music concert in Zlín Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic , which will take place on Sunday 8 June at 19.00 hours in the Great Hall DK on the occasion of the celebration of Czech music with the support of the Zlín Region.


Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic named after one of the greatest Czech composers. Focusing on the presentation of his work today Orchestra conducted at numerous radio and CD recordings began in the sixties. Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic 's repertoire consists of almost all the symphonic works of different periods and styles , but also a large number of tracks present in excess in jazz , folk or popular music. Cooperation with radio and television , as well as recordings on audio carriers are a regular part of the activities of the orchestra . Since the season 2008/2009 , is a chief FBM Stanislav Vavřínek , who studied at the Brno Conservatoire flute and conducting. In conducting the study continued at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts , after its completion took master classes in Switzerland. In the years 1999-2008 he served as chief conductor of the South Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic Czech Budejovice . Since 2006 he has been a lecturer field
conducting at the Prague Academy of Music .
