Jubilee exhibition showcasing the history of professional offices, which accounts for more than a century plans for the care of forests in our country.
For the development of forest management - a discipline whose task is periodic surveys the state of the forest , its potential for development and preparation of proposals for economic measures - had until the early 20th century crucial especially large private forest estates, which was already used to have their own fixtures ( mensurational ) office. The oldest tradition had plumbing services liechtensteinská ( since 1889 housed the Austrian Rabensburg ) and Schwarzenberg in Deep nad Vltavou ( 1852) . When in 1894 he ordered Olomouc Archbishop Theodor Kohn ( 1893-1904 ) set up a separate forest furnishing an office in Kroměříž (German Forsteinrichtungskanzlei in Kremsier ) , so it was the first independent plumbing firm in Moravia. After the political changes in the first half of the 20th century Archbishop's office professionally established state Department of Forestry Brandys nad Labem ( FMI) . Among them is prof . Ing . Josef Konšel , Dr.h.c. (1875-1958) , one of the leading European foresters and co-founder of modern silviculture in the Czech Republic. The exhibition is produced in collaboration NPÚ Kroměříž , Olomouc Museum of Art , Kromeříž branch FMI and the Mendel University in Brno.
